Job Description:
- Key individual contributor to Quality Control (QC) project teams within T&O and/or lines of business. Works with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed and/or design and execute test plans and procedures for acceptance testing of new or modified applications and/or systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, hardware technology and tools, etc.
- Provides guidance in the creation of standard test environments, tests plans, and test scripts. Prepares and conducts acceptance testing of new or modified applications and systems.
- As a senior member of the technical staff, assists senior business and IT management in determining the direction of current and future developments in area of expertise.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization.
- Provides feedback and technical guidance to project managers on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives.
- Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers.
