- Proven ability in writing test cases, running functional, automated, or performance tests, and managing defects.
- Experience with various test Management Tool like TestLink etc.
- Should have a good knowledge on Handling SQL and writing SQL to create test data sufficiently to test various scenarios.
- Exposure to one of the scripting languages shell, javascript, python, groovy
- Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing & Window based Testing
- Experience with JIRA, Source Control tools, Tomcat and Apache, Active Directory, LDAP, multi domain enterprise environments
- Experience with Web Services testing and back-end service/API tools such as SoapUI , HTTPClient.
- Any of the following test certifications - QAI, ASQ, IIST, ISEB, ISTQB - are a plus..
- Exposure with programming languages like JAVA, C++/C#
- Knowledge of basic Unix/Linux is a plus.
- Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural engineering team
- Experience with Agile, Kanban or other rapid application development methods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, passionate about software, and driven to achieve committed milestones
- Effectively communicate status, metrics, and issues on a regular basis
