- 3 to 5 years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance, Data Warehousing / BI, ETL Testing and / or data analytics.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL (joins, data modeling, data mapping and PL/ SQL skills)
Candidate will be involved in both manual testing and Database Testing across multiple scrum teams - Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases for large business initiatives.
- Create and maintain test cases and Defects Tracking in ALM or Quality Centre
- Knowledge of Software testing processes and automated tools, with an ability to apply software testing methods and techniques in a DW / BI environment.
- Good Exposure on Agile Methodology will be added plus.
- Knowledge on ETL data stage Testing or Performance testing is Value added.
- Expertise in Functional, Integration, System, and Regression testing.
- Communicate with data services team (business analysts, data architects and developers) regarding status, issues and risks on a timely basis. Identify, mitigate and drive project issues and risks to resolution.
- Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plans
- Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance
- Experience in skills Best Practices, Task Estimation, Root Cause Analysis, and Risk Identification.
- Able to complete project assignments independently as well as a team player.
- Consult with the business team and teammates to identify all facets of an issue and generate a solution. Excellent conceptualization, analytical and logic skills
- Good Domain experience on Health care data.
