- Must have experience testing Mobile, Web and Windows applications.
- Must have experience working in an agile environment.
- Must have zeal to adapt to any situation and deliver as per the objectives.
- Should be able to comprehend system requirements and raise queries beforehand.
- Should be able to develop and document application test plans/cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Should be able to design and develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks
- Validate system modifications to prepare for system implementation.
- Examine code and execution of code in various environments.
- Record and document results and compare to expected results.
- Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
- Report defects to software developers.
- Provide application instructions for users.
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
